Workshop Regulations

§ 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

The organizer of the ceramic workshops is Karolina Rajchel Zuri Ceramic Studio, 28-500 Kazimierza Wielka, Donosy 47, NIP: (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). 

The customer who decides to purchase the service (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") consents to the processing of his personal data by the Organizer within the meaning of the Act of August 29, 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended) in order to carry out the sales process.

The condition for participation in the workshops is the age of 18.

The workshops take place in the Zuri Ceramics studio at 72 Kazimierzowska Street, apt. 2, Warsaw, Mokotów (hereinafter referred to as the "Workshop").

By purchasing participation in the workshop, the participant accepts the details of the workshop presented at www.zuriceramics/warsztaty. 

The workshops are practical. The organizer provides Participants with knowledge about the formation of clay vessels from manual construction to glazing and final firing. The Organizer is not responsible for the degree of assimilation by the Participant of the content provided.

Workshops are held in Polish, unless the workshop description on the website www.zuriceramics.com states that the workshops are held in a different language.

The number of places at the workshops is limited and determined by the Organizer.

The duration of the workshop is determined by the Organizer and is indicated in the description of the workshop at www.zuriceramics.com. 

Taking into account the different level of skills of the Participants, the Organizer, after obtaining the consent of the Participants, reserves the right to extend or shorten the workshops so that the Participants can implement the planned projects. At the Participants' request, the instructor may also shorten the workshops or modify their programme.

Workshops can be conducted by one, two or more people.

Participation in the workshops is tantamount to acceptance of these Regulations.

The organizer reserves the right to document the workshops using image and sound recording devices and to use the documentation in its own materials and in social media and the website administered by it.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the Regulations at any time. The change does not apply to Participants who purchased workshops and accepted the Regulations, unless they agree to such a change.

§ 2 REGISTRATION FOR WORKSHOPS

The Participant purchases participation in the workshops at www.zuriceramics.com

All payments are made via the website, which can be accessed via the website www.zuceramics.com at the time of selecting the online payment option.

The participant who has purchased the workshop receives a confirmation e-mail with a summary of the order.

The Organizer is not responsible for the Participant's mistakes when making payments as a result of the Participant's failure to comply with the payment instructions.

The workshop participation fee includes:

a) group classes with an instructor

b) all materials necessary to participate in the workshop, including work apron and dust mask.

d) water, coffee and tea to be used during the workshops

e) a gift - a mug from the Summer Collection

f) a 15% discount coupon for purchases in our online and stationary store.

§ 3 OBLIGATIONS OF THE ORGANIZER

The organizer conducts workshops

The organizer provides all the necessary materials and a room adapted to the workshops

The Organizer is not responsible for items (money, valuables) left by the Participants at the place where the classes are conducted.

§ 4 ORDER

Please respect the property of the studio, wash the tools

Completed works must be signed - unsigned works become the property of the studio.

§ 5 CARE

A work apron must be put on before the workshop begins. The organizer and workshop leader are not responsible for soiled or damaged clothing of Participants.

Be careful in the ceramic studio area. special attention should be paid to the ceramic stove.

Only the instructor puts the work into the oven. Only a person authorized by the organizer can operate five.

The Organizer is not responsible for damage to the participants' works resulting from the negligence of other Participants.

§ 6 ACCEPTANCE OF WORKS

The participant is obliged to personally collect the works made during the workshops. If the Participant is unable to collect their works in person, they must inform the workshop organizer about this fact in advance and provide the details (name and surname) of the person designated by them to collect the works.

Works not collected after one month from the date of notification of their readiness for collection will be destroyed.

§ 7 SAFETY

Classes are conducted by an instructor, you can stay in the studio only in his presence.

In the event of participation in the workshops, the Participant is obliged to comply with the rules that will not endanger his health.

In the event that the Participant's behavior is inappropriate and interferes with the course of the classes, the instructor may ask the Participant to leave the studio and workshops. 

The organizer informs that the materials used during the workshops may cause allergic reactions in some people. Each Participant, knowing their health condition and agreeing to participate in the workshops, undertakes to take this fact into account.

The participant is obliged to comply with the basic rules of hygiene and safety as well as fire regulations in force during classes.

§ 8 RESIGNATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN WORKSHOPS, RETURNS, COMPLAINTS

The fee paid by the Participant means the purchase of a place/s for selected workshops. In the case of absences resulting from fortuitous events or resignation from participation in the workshops, reported up to 7 (seven) days before the start of the workshops, the fee will be returned to the Participant within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of informing the Organizer by e-mail to the following address:

zuriceramics@gmail.com about resignation or from the day following the date of the workshop.

Participants who paid for the workshops, but did not appear at them and did not inform the workshop organizer about it in advance by e-mail to the following address: zuriceramics@gmail.com, are not entitled to apply for a refund of the amount paid for participation in the workshops. 

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop no later than 2 (two) days before its start. In the event of cancellation of a given workshop, the Organizer may propose a different date for the workshop to the Participant. If the Participant does not agree to the change, the Organizer will return the fee paid by the Participant within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of notification by the Participant about the lack of consent to the change.

If the Participant is unable to participate in the purchased workshops, he/she may indicate another person who will take part in these workshops instead. The participant must inform the organizer about such a change by e-mail to zuriceramics@gmail.com, no later than 1 (one) day before the start of the workshop to which the change applies. Participation of this person in the workshops is possible after reading and accepting these Regulations. 

All questions regarding the functioning of the workshops, their course and complaints should be sent to the following e-mail address: zuriceramics@gmail.com. The Organizer reserves the right to respond to them within 14 (fourteen) business days. 

OHS RULES applicable at the Zuri Ceramics plant

The ceramic studio is not responsible for any damage and possible health damage resulting from non-compliance with the Studio Regulations, Studio Regulations, OHS rules and resulting from the individual health of people using the Studio.

During the workshop, we follow the instructor's instructions.

Tools, devices and materials used during the workshops are used in accordance with the intended use and the instructor's instructions.

During the workshops it may be necessary to use scissors and other sharp tools, great care should be taken when using them.

Any accidents, damages or threats should be reported to the instructor as soon as possible.

Unauthorized commissioning of the stove is prohibited.

Participants of the workshop are responsible for any damage caused in the ceramic workshop.

Dry sanding dust is harmful. Therefore, when sanding works, the organizer provides a mask. It is best to wipe the dust with a wet cloth, do not blow it off.

Please note that glazes are chemicals and care must be taken during the glazing process. No food or drink should be consumed while working. Use protective measures, such as an apron, masks, disposable gloves.
